Agorion Terms of Use (EULA)

Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
Keep your credentials confidential and notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
Biometric login (Face ID/Touch ID) is optional and stored securely on your device only.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable laws.

Plus memberships are billed through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple's terms govern billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellation windows.
Plus subscribers can view up to 3 skill contents per month without requiring an exchange.
Upgrades take effect immediately after Apple confirms the transaction.
Failure to pay fees when due may result in downgrade or suspension of premium features.
If you downgrade from Plus to Free, skills you previously unlocked remain in your library and can be re-viewed. New skill views require an exchange or re-subscribing to Plus.

You can invite friends using your unique referral code or link.
When a referred user signs up and completes their first skill exchange, both you and the referred user receive 7 days of Plus benefits.
Referral rewards are granted automatically and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits.
Abuse of the referral program (fake accounts, self-referrals) may result in reward forfeiture and account suspension.

Skills you create are publicly visible to all users (title, description, preview images).
Full skill content (videos, documents, locked sections) may be viewed by Plus subscribers without an exchange, up to their monthly limit.
By posting skills, you acknowledge that Plus users may access your content as part of their subscription benefits.
Locked content unlocks permanently for users who complete an exchange with you.
You may list skills as exchange-only, exchange-or-payment, or payment-only, and may publish a visible lesson rate where supported.
Paid lesson requests are request and communication flows only. They are not in-app checkout, booking, escrow, or payment processing.
You may list skills you can teach and items you wish to trade or sell.
Prohibited content includes: illegal material, weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property, and adult content.

Trade item listings store location coordinates to enable distance-based search and display approximate location (city-level) publicly.
Precise coordinates are used only for distance calculations and are not displayed to other users.
All listings must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe third-party rights.
We may remove listings that violate these terms or community standards.

Skill exchanges are peer-to-peer agreements between users. Agorion facilitates connections but is not a party to exchanges.
Paid lessons are also arranged directly between users. Agorion does not process, hold, guarantee, insure, or mediate off-app lesson payments.
Users are responsible for using appropriate care, judgment, and safety practices when arranging any paid lesson or meeting.
Both parties are expected to fulfill agreed exchanges in good faith.
In-app messaging is primarily intended for communication related to skills, listings, exchange/trade activity, and connected user profile interactions, and is not a general-purpose username directory messaging service.
Failure to complete agreed exchanges may result in negative ratings or account restrictions.
Disputes should first be resolved directly between users. Contact support@agorion.app if you cannot reach a resolution.

After completed exchanges, both parties may rate each other (two-way ratings).
Ratings should be honest and based on actual experience.
Ratings are permanent and cannot be removed except for verified policy violations.
Fraudulent ratings, review manipulation, or referral abuse may result in restrictions or suspension.
Trust badges are earned based on your rating history and platform activity.

Share only content you have rights to and avoid disclosing sensitive personal data.
Do not use Agorion to harass, spam, scam, or defraud other users.
Do not reverse engineer, abuse our APIs, or attempt to circumvent security measures.
Report security issues or policy violations to the Agorion team immediately.

Certain features use AI services (OpenAI) to generate suggestions, optimize content, and assist with creation.
AI requests are processed through our secure server proxy to protect your API usage and apply rate limits.
AI-generated outputs are suggestions only-you are responsible for reviewing before publishing.
Content may be automatically reviewed by AI for community guideline compliance.
AI moderation decisions can be appealed by contacting support@agorion.app.

You retain ownership of the content you upload.
By posting content you grant Agorion a limited license to host, display, and distribute it within the product, including to Plus subscribers.
Skill Trading Cards and public profiles may be shared via public links.
Completion certificates are informational and do not represent accredited credentials.
We may remove content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or violates community standards.

Agorion is a platform connecting users. We do not guarantee the quality of skills, items, or exchanges.
Agorion is provided "as-is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Users are responsible for verifying the identity and trustworthiness of exchange partners, lesson providers, and lesson requesters.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agorion is not liable for disputes, failed exchanges, failed off-app payments, lesson quality issues, no-shows, or damages arising from user interactions.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases the minimum liability required by law applies.

We may update these terms when the product evolves. Material updates will be announced in-app or by email.
Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
